Here at apg homes, we take pride in designing and building homes with intelligence. The Cove is our latest exemplar of clever spatial design, with zero wasted space in this 335 square-metre home. Located in the Eden Beach Display Village, it's within 40 kilometres of the Perth CBD and, best of all, is situated less than a kilometre from the beach along Jindalee's coastline. 

Standing tall and proud at two storeys, every architectural and design decision to create The Cove was reached after careful research and consultation with industry experts. Here we take a look at what makes the Cove so special.

Designed with Intelligence 

Keeping the customer in mind, apg homes has developed rooms galore within The Cove to cater to a wide range of needs. It is said good design is born by fixing a need, and the Cove certainly delivers on this front.

All the rooms have both functional and stylish features. The living and dining zone is downstairs, with bedrooms upstairs. Four large bedrooms and two bathrooms are just the starting point, though. There's also a powder room, a media room and an activities room. 

An ode to luxury, the master suite is an oasis with a spacious walk-in-wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with double basins. The shower here is a standout, measuring 1.2 x 1 metres for the ultimate relaxation. Connecting to the master suite is a large private balcony with views towards the aquamarine ocean waters. There's enough space on this balcony for outdoor furniture, making it the perfect spot for a cool drink or cuppa in the evenings. 

Directly below the balcony is a front porch, a trademark of the Cove's coastal, cool, chic vibe. Measuring 14 square metres, the porch is an ideal spot to welcome guests into the home. Indeed, The Cove is the epitome in entertainment, with a truly enormous kitchen leading into an open-plan living and dining space, true to a contemporary indoor-outdoor flow aesthetic. 

Finally, the front elevation is designed to instantly convey a coastal charm, with white window frames contrasting to the blue-grey facade. In fact, our Sales Manager Ryan Webb calls this "our 'Hamptons' look" - Beachy glam at its best!

That's not to say the backyard has been overlooked - every single aspect of living comfortably has been considered, and so the backyard has alfresco decks, an artificial lawn and a lovely pergola. Built with Intelligence

The floor plan is symmetrical, using geometry to avoid any waste of space. No curved walls, truncations or angles allow both storeys to sit comfortably with no cantilever.

It's not just these big decisions, but also the little ones that make the Cove so thoughtfully built. We all know how hot it can get in Perth, but having air conditioners sticking out the side of a house isn't that pretty. Instead, the Cove has strategically placed air conditioning ducts so you can easily instal the air con machine. 

The Cove's symmetry has also allowed storage to shine. The walk-in-pantry is bigger than a scullery, and a 'drop zone' recess has been built between the garage and kitchen so you can place a table there for easy grocery unloading. All the wardrobes are spacious, highlighting the attention to detail with which every nook and cranny has been designed. 

Best of all, as the Cove was built on a smaller frontage lot. The team at apg homes has mastered how to build on smaller land without compromising on style or efficiency.
