apg revamps it's two storey options
Increasing land values and decreasing lot sizes have influenced the new range of two-storey designs from apg Homes. The company said these factors, alongside the introduction of a number of new construction techniques - including framed upper wall systems, lightweight materials and lightweight slabs - had resulted in an increase in the demand for two-storey homes.
Sales Manager Ryan Webb said these market movements had driven the builder to completely revamp its product offering with the intent of delivering affordable, quality double-storey homes.
"We've created 32 new home designs that are efficient to build, affordable and ultimately desirable, without compromising on the quality construction apg is renowned for," Mr Webb said.
The range is targeted to meet the needs of the modern family, with features such as concrete stairs with storage and double-brick construction.
"We believe homes built using these techniques offer significant value to our customers, particularly young families, as they offer maximum liveability and functionality," said Mr Webb.
The range also offers flexible designs to continue to cater to residents as their needs change.
"The layouts and positioning of spaces provide living solutions for both young and mature families at the same time and acknowledge that the use of spaces in a family home evolve as a family grows and matures," Mr Webb said.
Apg's design team worked alongside sales consultants to deliver designs with all the features its customers are requesting for home layouts.
"Our construction team worked to ensure all of our designs are easy to build and our operations department have re-engineered our process to maximise efficiency and minimise time and cost," he said.
"But most importantly, we made sure that every possible square metre of floor space in every design became usable areas - meaning we can deliver the greatest value for money."
The new range caters to most layouts, including upside-down living, rear-strata designs and a range of options for new estate block configurations. Two levels of specifications, the Breakthrough and Lifestyle ranges, give customers greater choice and the ability to work to their individual budgets.
"Our ranges offer customers a great choice of liveable, affordable and quality two storey home designs," Mr Webb said.
With five new APG display homes set for completion before the end of the year, Mr Webb said he expected clients would enjoy the hands-on experience of their quality designs in person.
