perfect fusion of form and finesse

An imposing front elevation with feature pillars and balcony provides a graceful first impression of the APG Homes two-storey display the Opus in Gwelup.

APG Homes Marketing Manager Matt Dragun said the Opus design was the perfect fusion of functional design and elegance,

"It features a beautifully appointed kitchen that flows seamlessly to the dining, living and outdoor entertaining areas, perfect for entertaining guests," Mr Dragun said.

"The Opus features a stunning Georgian-inspired elevation and, combined with the spacious interior, delivers a genuine feeling of opulence.”

“It will suit mature families. The entertaining areas are positioned at the rear of the home while the luxurious master suite is at the front of the home.

"The three minor bedrooms are configured around the upstairs activity room and computer nook, providing the perfect retreat for parents and children alike."

A porch stretches across the front of the home under the balcony, providing shelter space for the double front door.

This opens to an entry hall which gives a view of the entire length of the home to the back wall, although double doors can closed to separate the living area.

At the front of the home are the main suite and the double garage, which has a door to the backyard as well as a shopper's entrance.

Past the laundry, a powder room and the staircase is the open-plan living zone, which includes the kitchen, dining, living and alfresco areas.

The main suite has room for an easy chair or two and recesses for cabinetry. The walk-in robe and the ensuite both have extra space and a practical design, with a double vanity, pivot-door shower and separate toilet in the ensuite.

The kitchen is in two sections, with a rear, semi enclosed section providing extra storage and bench space. A stone-topped island bench with double undermount sink provides a handy extra seating area and appliances include a wall oven, 900mm gas hotplates, built in microwave, dishwasher and exhaust hood.

Upstairs is a children's zone. At the top of the stairs is a computer nook, opposite which is a big sitting room.

Each of the three bedrooms is double-sized. There is a separate toilet and a bathroom with bath.

The Opus will suit a traditional lot with a 15m frontage. It has a living area of 256sqm and a total area of 344sqm.

This home was an entry in the 2013 HIA Perth Housing Awards in the display homes $400.001 to $550,000 category and the Residential Building Designer category. For inquiries phone APG Homes on 6365 5727.
