flexibility ticks the boxes

Horizontal lines, light coloured render and a Colorbond roof create a contemporary first impression the Malibu display home in Burns Beach.

APG Homes Marketing Manager, Matthew Dragun said the home was designed to meet the requirements of families as they grew and as their needs changed.

“This is a home where the spaces offer flexibility in terms of their use, while still containing all the features and ticking all the boxes of the compete family home." he said.

"The home features a media room and activity room and dedicates dedicated study nook and ticks all the boxes for what our customers have been telling us they must have in a single storey home.”

In particular, the Malibu's large main suite is a major point of difference.

"It features a 38-course ceiling, generous walk-in robe and stylish ensuite and is the perfect adults' retreat away fromthe children's activity area at the rear of the home.

"Adding flexibility to the design is the activity room with feature skylight. This room is positioned central to the minor bedrooms and has been designed to cater for anything from a kids' playzone to teen chill-out room to dedicated study."

A porch leads to the timber-and-glass front door, which opens into the entry, with a shopper’s door to the garage on one side and the main suite on the other.

The main suite is dramatic, covering more than 20sqm and with the extra-high ceiling making it seem even bigger. The 38-course ceiling, walk-in robe with custom fitted drawers, shelves and hanging rails, and solid Caesarstone bench tops to the ensuite (and throughout the home) are all included in the display price.

The ensuite has twin vanity basins, a pivot door shoer and separate toilet. There is also a separate power room off the entry hall for guests.

The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is linked to the large alfresco area by two sets of stacking glass doors.

The doors meet at a corner and when they are open, the indoor and outdoor living areas transform into one.

There is also a  media room tucked away at the end of the home providing a separate space to work, play or entertain.

The kitchen has an island bench breakfast bar with a double sink, overhead cupboards, gas hotplates, a wall oven and a triple-door pantry.

A sliding door behind the kitchen leads to a roomy computer nook and to the laundry, which includes a ironing centre.

The tree double-sized children’s bedrooms each have a walk-in robe and share a big activity room with a skylight.

The Malibu will suit lots with a minimum of 17m frontage. It has a living area of 239sqm and a total area of 306.32sqm.

Versions are available from $275,947. For all the details about the Malibu click here
