We can continue to look for reasons to put off building a new home but sometimes it is worth looking at reasons why we should reconsider the building decision and examine some of the facts a little more closely:

• Historically low interest rates – sub 5% has reduced mortgage repayments considerably and slashed hundreds of dollars from the average home loan
• Abundant supply of keenly priced land gives you more choice
• Most affordable housing market in the past 5 years
• Vacant land provides no income source without a property on it
• Good supply of better qualified subcontractors
• Build times have been dramatically reduced saving time and money
• Quicker turn around times through local councils and approvals process
• Great rental yields can offset most if not all of the mortgage repayment for investment properties
• Great apg homes incentives and promotions currently available
• Prices can only fall so far before they rebound
• Suppliers are keen to do deals for finishing itemsfloor coverings, landscaping, pools etc
• Under supply of housing stock in Western Australia will place price pressure in coming months / years and force the next property cycle to levels well beyond the current status

In our opinion, it just does not get better than this in terms of timing.

Don’t be the one to let this opportunity slip by and look back in years to come and regret not taking advantage of this window of opportunity.

No-one will be ringing a bell when the market has bottomed. Most of the market will only be aware of what is going on 6 to 12 months after the market has taken off again due to the lag between available data and the real situation.
