The Chelmsford is a traditional two-storey home with plenty of room for everyone, a striking facade and stylish design.

The APG Homes display home in Jindalee has a three-car garage and porch leading to double glass entry doors.

The entry hall has a door to the garage and an open study, handily located for those who need a home office.

A media room which could double as a formal lounge is opposite a powder room and walk-in linen cupboard.

There is a storage cupboard under the stairs, past which is the open-plan living area.

A long wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and glass sliding doors links the living area to the alfresco area.

The dining area also has floor-to-ceiling windows and the kitchen has windows each side of the range hood.

A feature pillar delineates the island bench-breakfast bar, which has an under-mount double sink.

Other features include a wide underbench oven, five-burner gas cooktop with wok burner, stone benchtops and corner walk-in pantry.

At the top of the stairs is a big and practically designed activity room, as well as the main suite and the three minor bedrooms.

The main suite has access to the balcony and a three-quarter wall behind the bed, which hides the walk-in robe.

The ensuite has a separate toilet, bath, shower, double vanity and big mirror.

The Chelmsford was an entrant in the HIA-ANZ Perth Housing Awards.
