A modern elevation achieves considerable street appeal thanks to the use of mixed-material fencing, textured render and a glass-panelled front door.
According to APG Homes sales and marketing manager Leo Callisto, the home was built as part of a bigger development.
It was designed with the needs of empty nesters downgrading from a bigger house in mind.
"The development has been very popular and this home is a good option for people wanting to move out of a bigger house to something that presents well," he said.
The layout would also work well for a young family or couple and attracted considerable praise from the judges.
"This home has an excellent, modern elevation, with a well-thought out floor plan," they said.
"It's a creative design that introduces immediate visual appeal."
The communal part of the home, which includes living, dining, kitchen and alfresco areas, is well integrated and finished in an effortless, modern style.
Tiled flooring has been used throughout and the kitchen is equipped with ample cupboard space and a tiled splashback.
The judges commended this area of the home for its spacious feel, saying that "the sense of space is apparent on entering the home".
Mr Callisto said maximising room had been an important consideration in the design process.
The main suite is towards the front of the home at a distance from the other bedroom to ensure privacy, and includes a generously sized bedroom, walk-in robe and ensuite.
The additional bedroom is alongside the bathroom, formal lounge room and a study that Mr Callisto suggested could also be used as an extra bedroom.
