prestart consultant

apg homes are regarded as the market leader in the design and construction of luxury single and double storey homes.

We are seeking the services of an experienced Prestart Consultant, to join our award winning team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked for a Perth residential builder and is familiar with two storey construction, looking for a rewarding challenge.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conducting selection interview’s with clients to assist them with colour and specification selection for their new home.
• Preparation of variations for drafting to complete final drawings.
• Liaising with internal staff to ensure the smooth transition of the client’s file from contract signing through to commencement on site.
• Follow-up and guiding clients with proactive communication through the selection process.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
• A keen eye to attention to detail
• Outstanding communication and time management skills
• Highly organised
• Ability to multitask
• Competency with Microsoft packages
• At least two years’ experience in a selection role or similar
• Fantastic personality

To join our team you need to be self-motivated and highly energetic with a proven track record in sales. Experience with new home sales and/or an understanding of the building industry is highly desirable.

Other qualities our successful candidate will be able to demonstrate are:

You will have a high customer service focus, enjoy working in a team oriented environment and thrive on a challenge. A key aspect of the role is the fortnightly construction updates sent to all clients. Exceptional communication and organisation will be key to your success.

Previous experience in a similar role within the building industry is essential.
